This policy explains how Dev Alliance collects, uses and protects personal information when you use dev-alliance.ca or contact us. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Who we are
Dev Alliance is a web design business run by Harshil, working remotely from India with Canadian clients. Harshil is responsible for privacy at Dev Alliance. You can reach us at info@dev-alliance.ca.
What we collect
When you fill in our enquiry form, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, city and province, current website, the service you need, your budget, when you want to start and your message. We don't ask for health, financial or other sensitive information, and we ask you not to send it through the form.
Like most websites, our servers also record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site secure and working.
Why we collect it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry, book and hold your call, prepare a quote, and, if you become a client, deliver and bill for our services. We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Consent
By submitting the form, you agree that we can use your details as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; we'll then stop using your information, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies that are needed for the site to work and to protect forms from spam. Where we use analytics or other tracking that needs your consent, including under Quebec's Law 25, we ask for it first through our cookie banner, and you can say no.
Who can see your information
Only the Dev Alliance team, and the service providers that host this website and handle our email, can access your information, and only to do the work described above. Because our team works from India, your information may be accessed from outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. We take reasonable steps to protect it wherever it is handled.
How we protect it
Forms submit over encrypted HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to people who need it, behind individual logins.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and client records for as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes. Then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@dev-alliance.ca and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
